Molly Davitt, 98, of Pikeville, Tennessee died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the Bledsoe County Nursing Home, where she had resided for several years.
She was born in London, England and was of the Catholic Faith. Molly drove emergency vehicles for wounded soldiers during WWII, and after the war, opened a bridal boutique in California. She loved to knit and was an avid reader.
Molly was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Davitt; parents, James and Elizabeth Stills McDavitt; daughter, Bonnie Koske; sons, Laurence and Christopher Davitt; six brothers, and three sisters.
She is survived by her son Keith (Jacklyn) Davitt, New York; daughter-in-law, Katherine Davitt; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
