Evelyn Smith

Evelyn Smith, 76, of Pikeville, Tennessee died Friday, June 1, 2018.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and was best known for picking vegetables on the Hixson farm and selling produce at her fruit stand in Hixson.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Litton and Duel Hankins Smith; brothers, Clarence, Nelson, Marvin, and Robert Smith; sisters, Virginia Nole and Ida Lee Thomas; special friend, Rayburn Reeves.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammie (Jason) Ledford; twin sister, Aileen Hale, sister-in-law, Ruby Smith; granddaughters, Reagan and Kendall Ledford; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A celebration of life was held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Darvin Oakes and Bro. Delbert Raines. Burial was in Bud Smith Cemetery.
