Thieves take over $40,000 worth of City equipment

An early morning theft from the City of Pikeville’s workshop lot on Allen P Deakins Road last Thursday, May 17, leaves the city without an estimated $40,000 worth of goods, reported Pikeville Police Chief Ronald Byrd.

Among the more valuable items stolen were a 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup truck, an 8×12 tip trailer, and a Kubota D331 60-inch cut zero turn mower.
