James Harold Frady
James Harold Frady, 80, of Springville, Alabama passed away on March 6, 2018.
Harold was born in Bledsoe County on June 25, 1937, the son of the late Charles Otto and Lennie Simmons Frady. He graduated from Bledsoe County High School in 1956. After graduation, he served in the Marines.
Harold lived most of his life in Alabama. After his retirement from Weems Hauling Company, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Jacqueline Pugh; sisters Wilma Hale, Reva Walling and Willene Morgan; and brother Charles Frady.
He is survived by his wife Sue Weems Frady; step-daugther Robyn (Steve) Price; grandson, James Riley Pugh and Luke (Lindsey) Price; sisters, Roberta Collier of Pikeville, Betty Trinkle of Muncie, Indiana and Sammie Cooley of Dayton; brothers Riley (Velma) Frady, William (Fran) Frady, Dion (Gayle) Frady, Gene (Freda) Frady, all of Pikeville; great-granddaughter Charleigh Price; sister-in-law Joann (Wayne) Benton; brother-in-laws Mike Weems of Alabama, and Dalton Weems of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Alabama and in Pikeville.
