Schools search bags, use metal detectors

A vague threat written on a letter found at Bledsoe County High School (BCHS) last Wednesday led to increased police presence and all students being searched before entering the building.

The letter did not contain any list of individual group of students, contrary to social media postings, according to Director of Schools Jennifer Terry. She added two other school districts received similar vague threats around the same time last week.
