Willene McReynolds Shelton

Willene McReynolds Shelton, 72, of Pikeville, died Saturday, February 3, 2018.

She was a member of Pikeville United Methodist Church.

Preceding Willene in death were her parents, Charles I. and Wilma Henley McReynolds.

Survived and left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of over 54 years, John W. Shelton; son, Charles S. “Chuck” Shelton; daughter, Karla W. Shelton; sister-in-law, Martha Lou “Marty” Layne; beloved, treasured, and very special friends James “Tiger” Asberry, Tammy Wooden Riggs, Scott M. and Alison T. Shaw; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, with Bro. Greg Smart  officiating. Burial was in Pikeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family ask donations be made in Willene’s memory to the Pikeville United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers were Scott Shaw, Nick and Jeff Shelton, Barry Griffith, Phillip Layne, and Randall McReynolds.
