Mattie Cadle

Mattie Cadle, 81, of Pikeville, died Monday, February 5, 2018.

She enjoyed fishing, crafts, quilting, cooking, canning, and was an animal lover. Mattie attended First Baptist Church when she was able.   

Preceding Mattie in death were her parents, Robert and Estelle Cope McGuire; daughter, Barbara Ann Stewart; sisters, Alice Marie Courier, and Estelle Raymond Bouldin; brother, Bud McGuire; granddaughter, Charity Renee Pickett.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Darrell Robert (Chizuru) McGuire of Georgia, Eddie (Betty) Curtis of Pikeville, Varlin Lee (Linda) Curtis of Pikeville; brother, Robert Jr. (Jewel) McGuire of Rickman; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 with Bro. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial will be in Humble Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 7. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to First Baptist Church of Pikeville, P.O. Box 770, Pikeville, TN 37367 in her memory.
