Wanda Ruth Haston

Wanda Ruth Haston, 64, of Pikeville, Tennessee died Thursday, January 11, 2018.

She was of the Baptist faith, a teacher for 25 years at Mary V. Wheeler Elementary. Wanda was very involved with St. Jude, enjoyed knitting, shopping, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Bernice Simmons Britt.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Chuck William Haston; father, Franklin Leon Britt; son, Blake (Kelli) Haston; daughter, Amanda (Dennis Thomas) Dixon; brother, Maxie Britt of Rickman; grandchildren, Kayla, Dewley, Dallas, and Daelyn; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life was held Monday, January 15, with Bro. Steve Haston officiating. Burial was in Old Union Cemetery in White County.
