Edgar L. Gifford
Edgar L. Gifford, 80, of Pikeville died Sunday, August 21, 2016 at his home.
He was a member of Mt. Crest Church of God of Prophecy and was retired from La-Z-Boy.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Jean Gifford; parents, Henry Raymond and Mayme Gifford; brothers Henry Raymond Gifford, Jr., Charles T. Gifford; sisters Thelma Hitchcox, Judy Tucker, Rowena Gifford; and nephew, Roger Dale London.
Survivors include his wife, Ina Jean Gifford; sons, Jimmy L. (Anita) Gifford and Darrell (Deanna) Gifford; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Marietta London, Evalene Shannon, Alvalene Holland, Linda Clark; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, August 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ken Norris officiating. Burial was in Iron Hill Cemetery.
