Brandie Deweese

Brandie L. Hancock Deweese, 38, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 at her home in the Fall Creek Falls Community in Van Buren County.

She was born in Dayton on July 22, 1977. She was a member of the Plainview Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Perry Hancock; step-son, Beau Deweese; grandparents, W.M. and Ruth Boring Headlee, and Charlie and Pauline Hancock.

She is survived by her husband, Bengie Deweese; daughter, Makayla Deweese; mother, Zella Hancock; sister, Angela Kirkland; brothers, Brian and Charles Hancock; niece, Caterina Hancock; nephews, Dustin Hancock, Aaron and Brandon Kirkland.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Estel Bilbrey, Rudy Oakes and Dennis Deweese officiating with burial in the Blankenship Cemetery.

Layne Funeral Home in Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
