Donnie Walker

Donnie Walker, 75, of Pikeville died Monday, May 9, 2016.

He attended Faith Baptist Church and was a retired Post Master for Bledsoe County. He was also a former member of the Nine Mile Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Carrie and Lee Walker, and his father, Blake Walker.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Walker of Pikeville; sons, Mike (Penny) Walker of Ringgold, Georgia, and Mitch Walker of Pikeville; grandchildren, Michael (Jenny) Walker, Ryan Walker and Blake Walker; sisters, Debbie (Kevin) Swafford of Pikeville, Mary (Lamar) Brown of Tunnel Hill, Georgia; brother Joel (Tina) Walker of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Services were held Wednesday, May 11 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Milton Ker, Rev. Wallace Angel, Minister Dennis Smith, and Rev. Doyle Ashburn officiating. Burial was in Brushy Cemetery.
