Mary Clyde Bridgeman

Mary Clyde Bridgeman, 83, of Pikeville, went to be with The Lord, Tuesday, November 10, 2015.  

Preceding her in death was her husband, Rev. James Alvin Bridgeman; daughter, Sgt. Elizabeth Darlene Brown; son, Samuel Bridgeman; parents, Arthur and Aretta Lawson Brock; sisters, Nell Sammons and Alfreda Brock; brothers, Wallace, Robert, Lester, Junior, Herbert, and Francis Brock; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish Mary’s memories are her daughter, Martha C. (Samuel) Goines; sons, Rev. James Robert “J. R.” (Kellie) Bridgeman, Jasper E. Bridgeman, and Lyndon H. Bridgeman; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Pankey and Bess Bridgeman; a host of other family members and friends.

A celebration of life was held November 14 at the Pikeville Church of God with Rev. Cedric Henson officiating and eulogy by Rev. J. R. Bridgeman. Burial was in Pikeville City Cemetery.
