James E. “Jake” Walker, 81, of Pikeville, died Friday, October 30, 2015.
Jake worked several years at Sequatchie Slaughter House. He loved being with his friends and watching the Tennessee Vols.
He was preceded in death by parents, Buck and Flossie Walker; brothers, Donnie, Tommy and Avon Walker.
Left to cherish his memories are three daughters, Kathy (Hank) Ingram, Shirley (John) Williams, and Tammy Walker, all of Crossville; brothers, Wendell Walker, and Phillip (Shirley) Walker; four grandsons, Michael, Matthew, Jeremy, and Trent; great-granddaughter, Jasmine; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jake’s life was held Monday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Gary Brown officiating. Burial was in Brushy Cemetery.
