Pearl Sullivan, 76, a much loved moma, granny, and great-granny, passed peacefully from this life after an extended illness on August 9, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Beatrice Sinks Knott; daughter, Carol Johnson; grandparents, Leland and Clara Holland; brothers, Raymond and Randall Sinks.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Carla (Martin) Deweese, Pikeville, Dwain (Diane) Johnson, Spencer; grandchildren, Jason (Kim) Myers, Harlee Deweese (Matthew Muddy Ewton), Stephanie (Brian) Smith, and Leland (Karissa) Johnson; great-grandkids, Bailee, Brody, and Skyla; sister, Sylvia (Sam) Rainey, Jr., Pikeville; brother, Ivan (Patricia) Sinks, Dunlap; sisters-in-law Vivian Sinks, McMinnville, and Bonnie Sinks, Michigan; Uncle, Clyde (Mary) Holland, Pikeville; Aunt, Wilma (Danny) Fults, McMinnville; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Pearl’s life was held Wednesday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Danny Lee officiating. Burial was in Rainey-Dill Cemetery.
