Lowell H. Smith

Lowell H. Smith, 92, of Pikeville, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Lowell was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents Willie J. and Liza Jane Smith; four brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include his daughter, Beverly (Eddie) Manus of Pikeville; brother, Dewey (Janie) Smith of Dunlap; special friends Diane and Junior Whited, Kim and Paul Brown; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Lorene Townsend.

Services were held July 18 in the funeral home chapel with Min. Bradley Hargis and Bro. Howell Whited officiating. Burial was in Collier Cemetery.
