Charles Ross McCloud, Jr.

Charles Ross “Red” McCloud, Jr., 88, of Dayton, formerly of Pikeville, died Friday, July 17, 2015.

He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Red was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in World War II and the Korean Wars.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ross McCloud, Sr. and Lou McCloud; sisters Madge Cagle, Jimbo Maloy, and twin sister, Josephine Oreto.

Survivors include his wife, Carleen McCloud of Dayton; daughters, Marsha McCloud of Evensville, Kathleen (Ray) Schneider of Texas, Jane (Johnny) Parton of Evensville; sons, Kenneth McCloud of Evensville, Charles “Chuck” (Tissy) McCloud of Chatsworth, Georgia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Anna Grace Lewis of Pikeville.

Services were held July 19 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Albert Roberts officiating. Burial was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
