Boonie Thompson

James Terry “Boonie” Thompson, 66, of Pikeville died June 12, 2015. 

He was a member of the New Martin Church of God, and formerly of Waterville Baptist in Trion, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Drury L. Thompson; mother, Bobbie L. Trammel; grandparents, John and Grace Trammel.

Survivors include his son, James “Jamie” (Donna) Thompson, Jr.; daughter, Stacy Bridges; grandchildren, Johnathan Thompson, Dylan Thompson, Justin (Caitlin) Smith, Brittany (Andrew) Crail, Caleb (Shae) Smith.

Memorial services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at New Martin Church of God and Friday at 2:00 p.m. EDT in Waterville Baptist Church in Trion, Georgia. Visitation is one hour prior to each service.
