Ovana Brown Cox

Ovana Brown Cox, 60, of Sparta passed away on December 30, 2014.

She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and especially playing with her grandchildren. She was a member and attended Oakwood Street Church of Christ.

Ovana was preceded in death by her husband, Lavon Cox; and her father, Sammie Brown.

Left behind to cherish Ovana’s memory are her daughters,  Catherine (Jody) Presley, Victoria Cox, and Johnanna Cox, all of Sparta; a brother, Jesse Brown; grandchildren, Haley Cox, Aaleiah Presley, Tessa Presley and Avery Wardlow; niece, Sarah Brown; and her mother, Louvada Cox; several cousins and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Ovana’s Life was in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 3 with Min. Glen Leftwich officiating. Burial was in the Iron Hill Cemetery.
