Billie Rae Housley

Billie Rae Housley, 78, of Dayton died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Life Care Center of Rhea County in Dayton.

Billie was a longtime resident of Rhea County and a member of Morgan Springs Baptist Church. She was a talented singer and songwriter. She was retired from Rhea Medical Center. She also loved to entertain, enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and being with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theron Ralph “Bill” and Gladys Morgan Clark; sister, Mamie Pearl Jordan; and brother, Theron Clark.

Survivors include daughter, Helen (John) Morgan of Dayton; sons, Olen (Candy) Wooden of Crossville, Winfred (Gail) Wooden of Evensville, and William Ray (Coreen) Wooden of Minot, North Dakota; sister, Frances (Ray) Walker of Auburndale, Florida; brothers, Daniel (Faye) Clark of Bakewell, Ralph (Cynthia) Clark of Pikeville, and David (Martha) Clark of Dayton; grandchildren, Candy (Raymond) Reel, Clint Morgan, Charlie Wooden and Olivia Wooden; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held December 9 in the funeral home chapel with Rev Clyde Fitzgerald and Bro. Tom Swafford officiating. Interment was at Morgan Springs Cemetery.
