Clayton Harwood

Clayton “Big Boy” Harwood, 63, passed away on November 8, 2014.

He was of the Church of Christ faith and attended Bethel Church of Christ. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing. Clayton worked as construction supervisor for the city of Chattanooga.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Johnnie Hitchcox, Pikeville; son, David Shane (Kate) Harwood, Red Bank; daughter, Shannon Kay Harwood; grandchildren, Robert Caleb, Will, Nicholas and Abney Harwood; several cousins, and many close friends.

A Celebration of Clayton’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 11, at 11:00 a.m. with Minister T.A. Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5-9 p.m. Burial will be in the Walling Cemetery.
