Billy Ray Smith

Billy Ray Smith, 68, of Pikeville, died Friday, October 24, 2014. He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, James Houston (Hoot) ; mother, Reva Pearl Kemp Smith; sisters, Willa Dean Prater and Jamie Marie Thurman; and brother, Ronnie Lynn Smith.

He is survived by daughter, Tonya R. Wells; sons, Danny Ray and David James Smith; sister Peggy Sue (Terry) Hargis; brothers, Eddie Dean and Marvin Earl (Vicki) Smith; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were entrusted to Putnam-Reed Funeral Home in Pikeville.
