Eva Marriott Scarbrough

Eva Marriott Scarbrough, 91, of Pikeville, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 66. She was renowned for her delicious cinnamon rolls.

She is preceded in death by two husbands, Houston Johnson and Milton Scarbrough.

Survivors include two sons, Barry (Anita) and Charles (Frankie) Johnson; four daughters, Peggy (Gary) Patton, Liz (Mitchell) Turner, Debbie (Donnie) Pursley, all of Dunlap, and Cathy Cox of Pikeville; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, John (Eileen), Richard (Joyce), and Stanley (Rita) Marriott, all of Bedford, England.

Services will be Saturday, September 27 at 11:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dennis Smith officiating. Burial will be in Pikeville Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, September 26, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
