Shelby Songer

Shelby Songer, 71, of Pikeville died Sunday, July 13, 2014.

She was a member of Brockdell Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents Willis and Lilla Mae Songer; sister Mary Dodson; and brothers Clayburn Songer and Tommy Songer.

Survisors include sisters Allene (Joseph) Songer, Audrey (Charlie) Davis, of Pikeville; brother-in-law Cecil “Bo” Dodson of Spencer; two special son-in-laws Charlie Davis and Malcom Newson; her church family; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Wednesday, July 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Brockdell Church of God with Rev. David Rogers officiating. Burial was in Rainey Dill Cemetery.
