Verna Lorene Potter

Verna Lorene Potter, of Tool, Texas, was born on January 18, 1925 in Pikeville to Tom and Etta Smith Pearson. She passed away on January 22, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Flora A. .Pearson, Virgil R. Pearson, Mayme Pearon, Lear Pearson, Cecil Benton Pearson, Clara Nancy Ann Pearson, Fred Winford Pearson and Thomas Eugene Pearson; husbands Dillard Smithers and Raymond Potter.

Lft to cherish her memory are her three sons, Billy H. Smithers and wife Darlene of Weatherford, Texas, Dillard (Jack) Smithers and wife Catherine of Trinidad, Texas, and Jimmy A. Smithers and wife Lizbeth of Tool, Texas; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment is at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Moorhead-Epps, Funeral Home in Gun Barrel, Texas.
