Litton G. Ladd
Litton G. Ladd, 87, of Pikeville, died Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was a member of Smith’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Preceding Litton in death were his wife, Dorothy Ladd; son-in-law, Whitney “Buddy” Read, III; sisters Edna Carpenter, Myrtle Lee Walker, Eva Jean Frazier, aned Bernice Ladd; brothers J.L., Claude and Andrew Ladd.
Survivors include daughter Fraba Read of Pikeville; several nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Service will be Saturday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jerry Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, March 14 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday at 11:00 a.m. until the service time.
