Vergia Edmons Boynton

Vergia Edmons Boynton, 91, of Pikeville, died Saturday, March 1, 2014. She was a member of the Mt. Crest United Methodist Church.

Vergia was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Boynton.

Survivors include children Thomas (Rita) Boynton of Pikeville, John B. (Glenda) Boynton, Jr. of Hermitage, Roger (Ruth) Boynton, Alice (Jim) Moody, Alan (Bonnie) Boynton, Darcy (Sherri) Boynton, Bennett (Tammie) Boynton, all of Pikeville; grandchildren Mindy, Andrew, David, Brandon, Tara, Chad, Kris, Joshua and Whitney; three great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sister Bessie (Mike) Neal of Chattanooga; brother Louis Edmons of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.

Service will be Wednesday at 11:00 am. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Boynton Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
