Howard Sutherland

Howard Sutherland, 80, of Pikeville, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Sharon Rose Monk and Sandra Faye Sutherland; two sisters, Mary Faye Hale and Aldean Spivey; and one brother, Coy Burton Sutherland.

Howard is survived by his wife of 61 years, Leila Sutherland, Pikeville; two daughters, Karon (Jerry) Johnson, Dunlap, and Sheila (Garry) Selby, Crossville; son, Howard Stephen (Debbie) Sutherland, Old Fort; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah (Ed) Campbell, Rossville, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are Saturday, February 1 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Hubert Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Swafford Chapel Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 4:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
