William “Bill” Hudson

William “Bill” Hudson, 73, of the Hendon community, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 17, 2014. He was a loving Christian man of the Baptist faith who loved the Lord, his family, and country with everything he was.

Bill was preceded in death by parents Grover and Allie Hudson; and brothers, Leroy and Johnny Hudson.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lorraine Hudson, children, Sherry (Ronnie) Krupp, Troy (Bonnie) Hudson, and Warner (Mark) Simmons; six grandchildren, Kira (Lamar) Hughes, Gracee, Rainee and Hudson Simmons, and Ruby and Ellie Hudson; one great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Hughes; sisters, Mable Hudson, Patsy (Winfred) Brown, and Mary (Billy Joe) Neal; brothers, Bobby (Buelah) Hudson, and Charles (Olena) Hudson; many nieces and nephews ; and great-nieces and nephews.

Services were held January 20 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mark Harwood and Bobby Hudson officiating. Burial was in Brayton Cemetery.
