Landon Lawson

Landon Lawson, 61, of Pikeville passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2013. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Brock; and grandparents, Susie and Clifford Brock.

He is survived and will be missed by his brothers, William Lawson and Kenneth Lawson, both of Pikeville, and Winton Lawson of Dayton; sisters, Wilma Robinson of Dayton, Ohio, Ola Sharp and Elizabeth Herd, both of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews; his adopted brother, Ellis Roberson’ and a special friend, Wanda Smith.

A Celebration of Landon’s life was held in the funeral home chapel on November 8. Burial was in the Pikeville City Cemetery.
