Beulah I. Simmons

Beulah I. Simmons, 86, of Pikeville died Sunday, November 10, 2013. She was a lifelong member of Griffith Church of Christ and also belonged to the Retired Teachers Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milo Simmons; parents who loved and raised her, Dault and Martha Jane Mooneyham; daughter, Anna Paulette Simmons; great-grandson, Duane Boynton; brothers, William and  Charles Walker; and sister, Mildred VanDyne.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda (Edward) Anderson; sons, Clyde (Barbara) Simmons and Russell (Joyce) Simmons, all of Pikeville; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Oma Britt of Crossville; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends; and special caretaker, Charlette Burgess.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 13 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tony Britt officiating. Burial was in Beach Ceme-tery.
