H.C. Guy

H.C. Guy, 83, of Pikeville, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013. He was of the Church of God faith and was an avid Bluegrass music fan.

H.C. was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Guy, and grandson, Seth Guy.

Survivors include daughter, Marva (Donnie) Lawson; son, Wendell Guy, both of Pikeville; grandchildren, Laura (Richard) Keedy, Jessica (Eric) Angel, and Nakisha (Nathan) West; great-grandchildren, Faith, Hunter, Ashlyn and Sunday Keedy, Kaylan and Eli Angel, Natalie West, and Brooklyn and Bryson Guy; two special friends, Anita Coon and Elmer Blaylock; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held October 6 in the funeral home chapel with Elmer Blaylock and Freddy Savage officiating. Burial was in Cagle Cemetery.
