Anas Lee Johnson

Anas Lee Johnson, 80, of Pikeville passed away on September 14, 2013. She attended Sampson Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Trent Johnson; brothers, Roman and Doil Watson; a sister, Laura Colquitt; and her parents, John and Lula Anas Watson.

Anas is survived and will be missed by her husband, Alvin Johnson; daughters, Deborah Johnson (Thomas) Bilbrey and Kathy Johnson; sister, Eunice (Beecher) Smith; 10 grandchildren; 20-plus great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

A celebration of Anas’s life was held September 16 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Hubert Davis and Bro. Bill Montandon officiating. Burial was in the Blackburn Cemetery.
