Mary Ella Revis
Mary Ella Revis, 80, of Dayton died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in Chattanooga. She was born October 7, 1932 in Dayton to the late Henry and Nellie (Rice) Sullivan.
Mary was a graduate of Bledsoe County High School. A resident of Dayton since 1983, Mary previously lived in Bradenton, Florida for 28 years. She was a homemaker and loved to write music. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her son Billy Revis.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Leland “Bill” Revis and her daughter Rhonda Bolding, both of Dayton; grandson Chris Benfield of Dayton; two great-granddaughters Ashlyn Benfield and Gabby Benfield; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial of Mary’s life is planned for Sunday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Harmony Baptist Church on State Route 443 on Dayton Mountain.
Arrangements were entrusted to Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton.
