Jimmy Tarver

Jimmy Tarver, 41, of Pikeville died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at his home. He was a United States Air Force Veteran where he was stationed at McGhee Tyson air base in Knoxville. He was on active duty with the Army National Guard in Crossville and worked with the TN Counter Drug Task Force.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Keith Tarver, Sr., and grandfather, Jetter Messer.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Tarver and son Zack Tarver, both of Pikeville; mother, Elizabeth McCulloch of Knoxville; grandmother Alice Messer of Knoxville; brother, David Tarver of Maryville; four nephews, Jordan, Jared and Jacob Tarver and Sebastin Rothwell.

Services were held June 24 in the funeral home chapel with Bobby Collier officiating. Burial was in Dunn Cemetery.
