Eliza Fields
Eliza Fields, 80, of Pikeville, passed away on March 25, 2013.
Eliza was of the Church of God faith and was a member of the Shady Vale Church of God. She worked at the Fall Creek Falls State Park Inn for 20 years as a cashier. Her greatest joy was spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Eula (Ferguson) Solomon; sons, Jerry and Wendell Eugene Wooden; and her brothers, Jimmy and John Randell Solomon.
Left behind to cherish her life is her husband, Ray Fields; son, Edd (Jacquelynn) Wooden; grandchildren, Wendy (Martin) Wooden, Marcus (Emily) Wooden, and Tim (Jessica) Churches; great-grandchildren, Brady, Jake and Gus Wooden, Karter Churches, Kaylynn Churches, and Charlie-Ray Martin; daughter-in-law, Delores Myers,; several in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews, a host of friends, and 2 special friends, Louise Patterson and Mary Wilson.
A celebration of Eliza’s life was held in the funeral home chapel on March 28. Burial will be in the Brayton Cemetery.
