Dean Clifton, 81 of Pikeville passed away on Sunday March 10, 2013.
He was of the Baptist faith and when able had attended Cold Springs Baptist Church. Dean worked as a janitor in a local restaurant for many years. He enjoyed fishing and working puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Ida Clifton.
Left here to cherish his memory are his nephew, Don Holland; niece, Vernice DeBord; great-nephew, Richard Holland; great-niece, Stephanie (Holland) Walling; special friends, Ricky and Patsy Brown, Billy Joe Brown and Debbie Brown, The Campbell Family – Mitch, Michael, Sondie Smith, and Kim Howard, Mark Blankenship, and certainly the entire staff at Bledsoe County Nursing Home for the wonderful care they provided him.
A celebration of Dean’s life was held in the funeral home chapel on March 12. Dean was laid to rest in the Humble Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Dean to the Bledsoe County Nursing Home Activities Fund.
