Willadean “Nanny” Womack

Willadean “Nanny” Womack, 81, of Summerville, Georgia died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Summit Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born May 29, 1931 in Pikeville, the daughter of the late Ira Brock and Dora Hickbottom Brock. She was a homemaker and a member of Subligna Baptist Church. 

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Millard Womack; sisters Bertie Mae Brock (infant), Lola Burgess, Mamie Lee Holland; and brothers William, Alley, Varlin, Mildred, Lester, Melvin, Huey, and Winford Brock.

Survivors include her children, Glen Womack, Jack Womack, Shirley Baugh, Kathy Grigsby, and Margie Cooper; 12 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

Services were held December 13 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carlos Brock officiating. 

Burial was in Subligna Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Steven Womack, Tim Womack, Jeffery Womack, Stacy Womack, Chris Cooper, and Michael Hughes. Honorary pallbearers were C.J. Miller, Levi Hamilton, Matthew Miller, Jacob Thomas, Evan Womack, Gabriel Womack, Timothy Hughes, Payton Biggerstaff, Jacob Biggerstaff, and Daniel Smith.

Arrangements were made by Mason Funeral Home, Summerville, Georgia.
