Bobbie Everett

Bobbie Everett, 81, Pikeville, formerly of Largo, Florida, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at his home. He was a Korean War Vet, and life-long roofer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dow and Susie Hancock Everett; sisters, Lila Belle, Maxine Allan, Geraldine, Jackie Morris, and Diane (Annie); brothers, Billy and Larry Everett; and an infant son, Charles.

He was survived by daughters, Glenda, Patricia, Betty, Bonnie, Susan, Shirley, Helen, Sandy, Chrissy and Amber; sons, Robert and Richard; brothers, Lonnie and Gary Everett; sisters, Mary McDowell, Charlotte Burgess and Linda Smith, all of Pikeville, Martha McKenie of Chattanooga, Brenda Powell of Knoxville, Shirley Evitt of Crossville, and Lydia Griffith of Bushnell, Florida; 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life was held in the funeral home chapel on January 7 with Bro. Ricky McGowan officiating. A private graveside interment will be held at a later date.
