Olen Hitchcox

Olen Hitchcox, 82, of Pikeville passed away on Thursday November 1, 2012.

He had worked for Aztec Corp as a welder. He was a Mason for 61 years at the F&AM Rossville Lodge 397. He was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Ola Mae Hitchcox; sisters, Judy, Janie and Joyce; and brother, Garret Hitchcox.

He is survived and will be missed by his wife, Johnnie Hitchcox; sons, Robert (Diane) Hitchcox, Joel Hitchcox, and Clayton Harwood; daughters, Lida Center, Doris Lamb, and Vanessa Stoker; a sister, Janice Baskett; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

A celebration of his life was held on November 3 in the funeral home chapel with Min. T.A. Smith officiating. Burial was in the Walling Cemetery.
