Shelby J. Tollett, 70, of Crossville, passed away September 5, 2012. She was born October 20, 1941 in Fayette County, West Virginia, the daughter of Ralph and Lena Marie Priest Anders. She was a member of Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church. She liked to crochet and enjoyed reading. She was also a champion scrabble player.
She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Anders.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Tollett of Crossville; mother, Lena Marie Anders of Rockwood; sons, Jeff Johnson and his wife Merrilee of Powell, and Bryan Tollett of Crossville; daughters, Tamera Spears and her husband Michael II of Orlando, Florida and Tina M. Cooley and her husband Carlton of Pikeville; brother, Gene Anders and his wife Ann of Portsmouth, Ohio; grandchildren, Jonathan Cooley, Jacob Cooley, Joshua Cooley, Michael Spears III, Sarah Stephens and her husband Duane, Christian Stephens, Nate Johnson, Seth Johnson and great grandchildren, Madelyn Kennedy Cooley, Allison Stephens and Duane Caden Stephens.
Funeral services were held September 7 the funeral home chapel. A Graveside Committal service was held the following morning at Lee Cemetery in Pikeville. Dr. Leonard Markham officiated. Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
