Jerry Wenton Putnam

Jerry Wenton Putnam, 62, of Pikeville went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 after a battle with a rare blood disease. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandpa.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 16 years, Mary Frances Putnam; daughters Melanie (Alan) Gavami of Nashville and Christie Keener of Dayton; son Jimmy (Stepanie) Keener of Crossville; grandchildren Robin, Michael, Marvin and Skyler; great-granddaughter Sage; beloved sisters Annette Miller, Carolyn (Bobby) Keedy, Jo Ann (Gerald) Reece, Thelma Neal and Brenda (Clarence) Camp; brothers Jimmy (Felecia) Putnam and Terry Putnam; several nieces, nephews; his Hubbard Farms family; and numerous friends.

Services will be held Thursday, November 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Donnie Lawson, Bro. Tony Britt, and Bro. Danny Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Cemetery.
