Hubert New
Hubert New, 93, of the Brayton Community died Saturday, October 29, 2011.
He was a member of Hendon Baptist Church.
New was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah New; granddaughter, Anne Marie New; sisters, Ethel Parmley, Thelma Butram, Norma Morrow and Eva Jane New; and brothers, Floyd, Gaylon, Hobert and Ardell New.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Ferguson of Brayton and Betty (Hershel) Britt of Dayton; son Herbert Leon (Karen) New of California; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister Rilda Daffron of Kentucky; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services were held October 31 in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in the New Family Cemetery.
