Lillie Mae Davis

Lillie Mae Davis, 86, of Pikeville passed away at an area hospital on Monday, October 24, 2011.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a wonderful cook who loved to sew and quilt. She was a member of the Mooneyham Church of God.

Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Davis; son, Jimmy Davis; grandson, Otis Mason; granddaughter, Alexis Lynn Davis; sons-in-law, Charlie Gregory, Earl Thomas and Larry Hodges.

She is survived and will be missed by her son, Otis Glen (Donna) Davis of Pikeville; daughters, Mina Gregory, Robin (Tim) McGraw, Betty Moffitt, Janie Thomas, Andrea Hale, Rita (Wayne) Hale, all of Crossville, Lisa Davis and Susan (Roger) Simmons, both of Pikeville, Linda (Perry) Simmons and Shirley (Junior) Dodson, both of Spencer; one brother, Clint Walker of Crossville; and a sister, Minnie Scott of Doyle; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held in the funeral home chapel Wednesday, October 26, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Doug Cunningham and Rev. Clyde Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Warner Cemetery.
