Callie Roberts

Callie Roberts, 102, of Pikeville, formerly of Union City, died Friday, October 14, 2011.

She was an Eastern Star member OES for over 70 years. She was a member of Pikeville United Methodist Church and a former member of Harris Station United Methodist Church in Union City.

Preceding her in death were her husband, J.C. Roberts; great-grandson, Horace Lynn Swafford; and son-in-law, Martin DeBord.

Survivors include daughter, Doris DeBord of Pikeville; three grandchildren, Dwayne (Debbie) DeBord of Pikeville Eric DeBord of Murfreesboro, and Amanda (Ronnie) Swafford of Pikeville; five great-grandchildren, Matthew (Shauna) DeBord of Dayton, Tyler DeBord, Jason, Justin and Andrew Swafford all of Pikeville, Allyson and Gaberiella DeBord of Murfreesboro; brother-in-law George Holman; and sister-in-law, Nell Davis, both of Union City.

Services were held at Harris Station United Methodist Church in Union City on October 16 with nephews Marlin Stevens and Guy Upton officiating. Burial was in Obion County Memorial Garden.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bledsoe County Senior Citizens Center.
