J.C. Troglin

J.C. Troglin, 79, of Pikeville, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011. He was a member of the Pikeville Church of Christ. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and Taft Youth Center.

Troglin was preceded in death by wife, Lela Mitchell Troglin; parents Johnnie and Estrella Troglin; sister Beatrice Troglin and brother Charles Troglin.

Survivors include wife of 41 years Reva Troglin of Pikeville; daughters Kathy (Arvil) Pursley of Signal Mountain Linda (Donald) Gifford, and Sherry (George) Thompson; son Terry Worthington, all of Pikeville; six grandchildren Michelle Ruffner, Chad Pursley, Kara Owens, Matt Gifford, Marcus Thompson and Lindsey Thompson; five great-grandchildren  Derrick Pursley, Daphne Pursley, Jacob Ruffner, Rachel Ruffner, Brooks Thompson; Aunt Nell Rogers, Bridgeport, Alabama.

Services were June 30 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tony Britt officiating. Burial was in Pikeville Cemetery.
