Dion Swafford
Rex Dion Swafford, 70, of LaVergne, formerly of Pikeville, passed away at Vanderbilt Hospital on June 1, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Swafford and Elnore McReynolds; and a brother, Bobby Swafford.
He is survived by his daughters, Gina (Bryon) Miller and Nancy Swafford; grandchildren, Joseph, Malina, and Trinity Miller, Brandon and Jonathan Hunter, brothers, James Wendall Swafford and Joe Swafford; one sister, Ann Dalton; and his cousin and best friend, Crave Tollett.
A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel by Bro. Doyle Ashburn on Saturday, June 18 at 1:00 p.m. Upon completion of the service, his ashes will be taken to his child hoodhome and placed on the land.
