Jackie Everett Morris
Jackie Everett Morris, 69, of Pikeville, died on March 15, 2011 in a Chattanooga area hospital.
She was a member of New Harmony Church of Christ. She was a 1960 graduate of Bledsoe County High School. She was a lifelong farmer and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dow and Susie Everett; sisters and brother, Lila Belle, Maxine, Geraldine, Diane, and Larry Everett.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years Randall Morris; two sons Jimmy and Lee Morris; five grandchildren Mike, Katie, Jessie, Luke Morris, and Autumn Cooley; one great-grandchild Cole Morris, all of Pikeville; three special children Sandy Holland, Chrissy Everett Bledsoe and Amber Everett; brothers Billy, Bobbie, Lonnie, and Gary Everett, all of Pikeville; sisters Mary McDowell, Charlotte Burgess, and Linda Smith all of Pikeville, Martha McKenie of Chattanooga, Brenda Powell of Knoxville, Lydia Griffith of Bushnell, Florida, and Shirley Evitt of Crossville.
A celebration of Jackie’s life was held in the funeral home chapel on March 18 with Min. Paul Cagle officiating. Burial was in Smyrna Cemetery, behind the Morris family farm.
