Thelma Lucille Hale

Thelma Lucille Hale, 81, of Pikeville passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a dedicated mother, wife and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dean Hale; grandson, Robert Paul McCartney; parents; brothers, Rudolph, Harry and Ernest Farley; son-in-law Robert Paul McCartney, Sr.

Hale is survived by her son, William Dean Hale, Jr.; daughter, Betty June McCartney of Rootstown, Ohio; grandchildren, William Dean Hale III and Christopher Brian Hale of Jacksonville, Florida, Steven James McCartney and Jennifer Renee McCartney; great-grandchildren, Madison, Blake, Katie, Gracie, Breanna, Brookelyn, Blake and Jayden.

A celebration of her life was held in the funeral home chapel February 16 at 11:00 a.m. Burial was in Summer City Cemetery.
