Frank Richard “Dick” Swafford, Jr
Frank Richard “Dick” Swafford, Jr., 66, of Pikeville died Tuesday, January 25, 2011.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a life-long dairy farmer in Bledsoe County and a member of the Dairy Farmers of America. He was also a member of Pikeville United Methodist Church, on the Board of Directors for Farm Bureau in Bledsoe County, member of St. Elmo Lodge #437 F&AM, Chattanooga Consistories of Scottish Rite Masons and Alhambra Shriners.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank Richard Swafford, Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Ginger Swafford; son, Frank Richard (Jessica) Swafford, III of Pikeville; granddaughter Haley Swafford.
Services were held January 28 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Smart officiating. Burial was in Swafford Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Pikeville United Methodist Church or Swafford Chapel Cemetery.
