Maxine Smith

    Maxine Thurman Smith, 83, of Pikeville died Sunday, January 2, 2011. She was of the Baptist faith.

    Preceding her in death was a brother, Sidney Thurman.

    She is survived by daughter Shirley (Wayne) Terry of Crossville; two sons Gary Smith of Pikeville and Darrell B. Smith of Cowpen, South Carolina; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister Nanny Henderson of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.

    Services were held January 4 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Albert Roberts officiating. Burial followed in Worthington Cemetery.
